The following scholarship and loan funds are specifically designated for university study either on the graduate or undergraduate level.

LOANS FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
B'NAI B'RITH/DR. ABE GREENBERG/HENRY MONSKY LODGE ENDOWMENT FUND The Henry Monsky Lodge of B'nai B'rith established this scholarship fund as an everlasting memorial and tribute to the late Dr. Abe Greenberg, a leader of the Jewish community of Omaha. The fund is designed to provide scholarship loans for undergraduate study for Jewish youth living in the metropolitan area of Omaha, Nebraska. The loans are interest free. Eligibility is limited to those whose parent, grandparent, or spouse is a member in good standing of the Henry Monsky Lodge of B'nai B'rith or an associated women's chapter.

DAVID E. BEBER SCHOLARSHIP FUND In 1976, the Milton S. and Corinne N. Livingston Foundation endowed a fund within the Jewish Federation of Omaha to facilitate scholarships, loans, and grants for Jewish students from the Omaha area. This fund is dedicated to the memory of David E. Beber, an active leader of the Omaha Jewish community, who devoted years to philanthropic service as a Trustee of the Livingston Foundation and in the community. The Foundation's ongoing contributions to the Jewish Federation of Omaha are constantly enriching Jewish cultural and religious life in Omaha. The Beber Fund provides loans to Jewish college students, loans and grants to those who wish to enter professional service to the Jewish community, grants to those studying in Israel, and grants to Jewish youths for attending seminars, conventions, and other programs of this type.

DAVID W. FRANK MEMORIAL FUND
The family of David W. Frank established this scholarship fund to provide assistance to students entering their junior or senior year of college who have demonstrated success in academics.
NANCY AND DON GREENBERG SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The family and friends of Nancy and Don Greenberg established a scholarship in their name to recognize their active leadership in the Jewish community of Omaha. Endowed in 1983, the fund benefits a Jewish resident of Omaha who will be a college freshman. As scholarships are often unavailable to undergraduates beginning their collegiate career, the Nancy and Don Greenberg Scholarship Fund seeks to provide aid for new college students who have earned no higher than a "B" average and have worked during their high school years.
LOIS JEANNE SCHRAGER MEMORIAL FUND
Phillip G. Schrager established this fund in 1980 as a lasting tribute to his late wife, who was actively devoted to community service. Each year, the endowment fund provides college scholarships to Jewish students from the Omaha area, who have demonstrated success in academics, and leadership in the Jewish community, so they may pursue their goals in higher education and carry out the dreams of Lois Jeanne Schrager.
PHILLIP G. & TERRI SCHRAGER GRANTS
These grants are funded by the Phillip G. & Terri L. Schrager Supporting Foundation. They are available on a continuing basis to undergraduate students who meet eligibility requirements of academic success and financial need.
EDWARD ZORINSKY ENDOWMENT FUND
This fund was established by Mrs. Sonia Zorinsky in memory of her son, Senator Edward Zorinsky. It is intended to facilitate the education of Omaha Jewish youth through scholarships for Jewish summer camps, summer study trips to Israel for high school students and university tuition for college freshmen.
UNDERGRADUATE & GRADUATE GRANTS
CARL FROHM EDUCATIONAL FUND
This fund was created by the Trustees of the Carl Frohm Foundation to provide scholarship aid to academically qualified students with demonstrable financial need. Preference is given to freshmen.
MAXINE & JOE KIRSHENBAUM SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Maxine & Joe Kirshenbaum created this fund to provide scholarships for university students. The fund was endowed in 1994. Preference is to be given to students with a GPA between 2.0 & 3.0.
THE LIVINGSTON SCHOLARSHIPS
The Livingston Scholarships were established by the Trustees of the Milton S. and Corinne N. Livingston Foundation to provide scholarship funds for: 1. University study 2. Jewish summer camp experiences 3. Summer study trips to Israel for high school students. 4. Educational programs for children kindergarten age or younger.
ALBERT M. & JEANETTE T. NEPOMNICK EDUCATION FUND
This fund was established in memory of Al Nepomnick by his family and friends. It is intended to provide financial assistance for non-tuition related expenses incurred in the university education of children of single parent families.
JEROLD I. & SHEILA E. ROSEN ENDOWMENT FUND
This fund was endowed in honor of Mr. & Mrs. Rosen for the purpose of providing college scholarships for Jewish youth from the Omaha Metropolitan area. Mr. Rosen was the Endowment Director of the Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Omaha from its establishment in 1984 until his death in 1992.
NATE H. AND BEATRICE SHERMAN SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Nate H. Sherman Foundation has created this fund to provide annual scholarships for qualified college students. The endowment allows the Financial Aid Committee to provide academically qualified students with Jewish commitment and financial need with grants which will further their education. The fund is named in memory of an Omahan whose generosity to this and other communities is well known.
SANDRA L. FELDMAN SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Founded to provide grants for graduate education to worthy students from the Jewish community of Omaha, this fund is dedicated to the memory of Sandra L. Feldman. Ms. Feldman graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University and studied at the University of Vienna, Harvard University, and the Business School at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. To perpetuate her memory and her exceptional achievements, the family has established this fund to allow others to partake of the benefits of graduate education.

RUTH SOKOLOF SPECIAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Ruth Sokolof Special Education Scholarship Fund was endowed by Phil Sokolof in 1984 as a lasting tribute and memorial to his late wife. Mrs. Sokolof was actively involved in the education of blind and handicapped children. Income from the original endowment is designed to benefit students who are enrolled at Nebraska universities and who are pursuing graduate degrees in special education and general education.

THE BURTON L. ROBINSON STUDENT ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Burton L. Robinson Student Athletic Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Burton L. Robinson by his family and friends. This endowment fund is specifically designed to benefit and assist Jewish students from the Omaha area planning a career in physical education, health and recreational science, or related and similar fields. Funds are also available for scholarships for summer camps sponsored by the Omaha Jewish Community Center.

The family and friends of Rebecca Friedman endowed this fund to provide scholarship aid for students seeking a high school or college level Yeshiva education.
HERBERT GOLDSTEN SCHOLARSHIPS
The Herbert Goldsten Scholarships were established by the Herbert Goldsten Trust to provide Jewish educational opportunities for children who have immigrated to Omaha from the former Soviet Union since January 1990.
CAROLYN KULLY NEWMAN MEMORIAL FUND
Established by the Milton S. and Corinne N. Livingston Foundation in memory of Carolyn Kully Newman, who was active in youth work, this endowment provides support for Jewish children who are just beginning their education. Children of kindergarten age or younger whose families are in need are eligible for financial support which will allow them to participate in approved programs and activities of the Jewish community of Omaha.
ESTHER K. NEWMAN MEMORIAL FUND
The Jewish Federation of Omaha has dedicated this trust to perpetuate the memory of a woman who devoted herself to the needs of the Omaha Jewish community. The endowment provides funds for special educational programs while it seeks to promote an increasingly higher level of Jewish education. Scholarships for Jewish camping, Israel pilgrimages, and day school education are examples of direct aid to children provided by the fund.
MURRAY H. & SHAREE C. NEWMAN GRANTS
These scholarships were funded by the Murray H. & Sharee C. Newman Supporting Foundation to provide scholarship aid for Jewish summer camps and other youth programs.
