Holdrege Summer Honors Program instructor. Plan and teach an annual 2-week class in Creative Writing for high school honors students in Nebraska's ESU 11 district. This involves teaching poetry and fiction writing to 12-14 students and then putting together an anthology of their work.

Omaha Public Library writing workshops for young adults. Organize and teach poetry writing classes to teens as part of National Poetry Month activities including work with the library's annual Poetry Bash for Teens held each April.

an introductory poetry writing course, then a quarter of
introductory fiction writing. Both classes were primarily
workshops with reading assignments and visiting authors.

Co-Founder: The Morpo Review, one of
the oldest literary magazines on the Internet (at
www.morpo.com). Both The AWP Chronicle
and Poets And Writers Magazine have
mentioned Morpo recently. Duties included
reviewing fiction and poetry submissions and writing a
column for each issue.

- Member of the Nebraska Arts Council's Artists in the Schools/Communities program since 2002.
- Featured reader at the Nebraska Literature Festival: 1998, 2001, 2003, 2004.
- Featured reader at the annual conference for the Western Literature Association: 2001, 2002.
- Featured reader with the Plains Writers Series, Wayne State College, NE: 1999, 2001, 2003.
- Mistranslating Neruda, published in September, 2002 by New Michigan Press.
- Poems published in over 100 magazines, including Mid-American Review, Green Mountains Review, Poet Lore, Wisconsin Review, Southern Poetry Review, and Laurel Review.
- Interview with Denise Duhamel printed in Chiron Review (Issue #60) and interview with Pattiann Rogers printed in The Morpo Review (Volume 3, Issue 3).
