I happily welcome all of you,
To our third grade class
Where we will do
Many things old and new.
From adding, subtracting, and multiplying too,
Telling time and making change,
To name just a few.
We’ll explore faraway places,
While learning to respect
People of all different races.
Cursive writing is new to you all,
Making each and every letter
Will keep us busy this fall.
Writing stories and publishing them too,
With the help of our computer lab
And Mrs. S. to see us through.
We’ll begin and end each day
Praying to Jesus
Who will guide us on our way.
So won’t you join us
As we begin anew
A year that will be filled with
All things
bright and new!
