Patrols

Black Dragon Patrol

The Black Dragon Patrol used their first aid skills to take second place in the "First Aid" event at the Fall Camporee. They also showed off their lashing skills by taking second in the "Mouse Trap" event. And to top it off they won a Dutch oven with a "Strawberry Cake" dessert.

Cobra Patrol

White Wolf Patrol

Tiger Shark Patrol

* *

The Tiger Shark patrol was a well heard name in this recent Fall Camporee. By some they were even referred to as the "Kick Butt" patrol. They had finally gotten the recognition that they had worked so hard to achieve, "Saturday night was a night that we (the patrol) had waited for for a long time". Out of 24 troops, 39 patrols, and over 300 scouts, the Tiger Shark patrol which was represented by four scouts and one webelos took first place in three of the eight events Mouse Trap, Log Pulling & Cutting, and Orienteering. Each of these awards came with a first place ribbon and a twenty dollar gift certificate from the "Gottschalk Scout Shop". As if that was not enough they were selected as the patrol showing the best "Scout Spirit". Each scout was awarded a "Character Counts" pin. To top it off the Tiger Shark patrol earned the "Best Patrol" award which also came with a twenty dollar certificate.
