OK, here is an idea - I am looking into the possibility of using the Douglas
County EOC. ( you know, down in the basement of the downtown county building
where the 991 center used to be.) Access would be a little difficult but
could be done. There is a good H.F. rig with linear and a coffee pot! I
have asked AJ0A to see if there would be any objections to us using it and
he will get back in a day or so. Also - we might ask Mr. Joe about using
the Sarpy county center too! Access would be better. Either one would work.
    What do ya think?

Subject: Nebraska QSO Party, April 28th and 29th, 2001

An announcement from the Heartland DX Association, which is sponsoring
the QSO Party, was just received at P.O. Box 1292 today. Unfortunately,
the date of the QSO Party is two months before our next business
meeting, so we can't discuss it in more detail and solicit further
    volunteers at that time.

I still think it would be desirable to put the callsign on the air a
little more often than once a year, if we can. If someone is interested
in operating as K0AIR out of their home (must be located in Nebraska)
for the Nebraska QSO Party, I, as trustee of that club station license,
would be willing to authorize it.

More information about the QSO Party can be obtained at:

    http://www.qsl.net/hdxa/neqso/

Again, one fixed station, the K0AIR callsign, possibly multiple
operators. The individual volunteering his station will do all
planning, supervision, and submission of logs. I would be willing to
serve as QSL manager, and receive QSL card requests at the club's
callbook address (P.O. Box 1292). The individual interested must contact
me, indicate their interest, and receive authorization. Only one station
can be authorized, consistent with QSO Party rules (which I assume are
consistent with ARRL contest rules) and SACMARC policy.
