My Radio - in March of 1995 I bougth Radio Shack model DX-375 AM/SW/FM Stereo PLL synthesized receiver. I use the radio nightly to listen to International Broadcasters on shortwave. Many nights I use the sleep "button" to listen to SW or music on FM as I fall asleep.
This portable radio with digital display has 30 station preset (memory) - 10 for AM ,SW ,FM. I use SW preset to the frequency of shortwave station I listen to late at night. Station frequency can be directly entered on the keypad (press enter, the number, enter). In addition, station can be tuned in by using the Manual/Auto tuning buttons - left of keypad. (turning step: FM .2 Mhz, AM 10 Khz, SW 5 khz). Another convenience is the "SW-Select" Button - It finds the beginning frequency of each SW broadcast band while scanning though all SW Frequency (2.3-21.85 Mhz)

If you want an inexpensive portable shortwave radio with digital display and memory, Radio Shack model DX-375 is the way to go!!

* From MHz to Meter,
  Divide 300 by number in MHz
  300/MHz = M
